Sign up for Membership, add/register and report the stolen item. The basic knowledge for all Members of IMEI COMMUNITY (IMEIC) is to know item serial numbers before the item is stolen. For example IMEI COMMUNITY Technology for Mobile phone does not rely only on IMEI, instead there are other three parameters that you need to record before your mobile phone get lost/stolen.
Contact IMEIC at support@imeicommunity.com as this could be a good start for you to get your item back as in such case you will be furnished with all details of who registered that item for you to take further actions (Refer our Terms and Conditions).
No! We can not guarantee due to the fact that some items are stolen and used as a whole or as spare parts and sometimes same items may be destroyed by the culprits for unknown reasons. However the higher chances are to get them back as whole, therefore by reporting your stolen item you increase the chances of getting it back.
Your data will be available and accessible in our database as long as you are able to maintain your membership by paying annual subscription fee (Currently 5 USD). After one year subscription if the fee for next year is not paid, a grace period of maximum 30 days is given after which you will not be able to access your data until you pay your annual subscription fee but all you data will be available in the database.
Yes, but we can not guarantee refund of all stolen items instead we refund few items on promotional basis as per agreed terms and conditions
Am in UGANDA, East Africa and my stolen item has been found in CHINA, how will I get it back.
You will be notified via your contact details to do repatriation as per available laws between the two countries.
The same applies if phone is found in the same country of your origin, you will be notified via your contact details.
Not all people have good intentions as there can be some who can pretend and request for money on the grounds that they would send the stolen and found item to the owner. To avoid all these all communications of the whereabouts of the stolen and found item should be addressed to IMEIC or nearby police station who in turn will contact the owner and other legal entities as per available terms, conditions and country laws.
